Sajjad Ahmed has exhibited in several solo and group shows in various museums, institutions and galleries across the world. His work addresses a diverse scope of concerns around art, representation, abstraction, semiotics, region, religion and globalisation, manifested through assemblages of found-imagery, and executed in an array of mediums; prints, installations and time-based mediums. Sajjad’s works have been collected by museums and institutions across Asia, Europe, Middle-East and North America, including Cathedral Museum of Atri, Italy, Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Russia and Devi Art foundation, India. Ahmed is an awardee and alumni of South Asia Foundation, as well as ﬁnalist for Sovereign Asian Art Prize, Hong Kong. Along with an artistic practice spanning over a decade, Ahmed has also contributed in art academia in various institutions across Pakistan.
